Ace Saatchi & Saatchi made history by being the first Philippine entry to get shortlisted in the toughest category in Cannes Lions Titanium & Integrated. The shortlisted campaign for Kraft Philippines “Tiger Energy Playground” also made it to the Direct, Outdoor, and Media shortlists.
CANNES, FRANCE, JUNE 2012: On day 4 of Cannes Festival, IPG hosted a session called “Conversations on Women in the Advertising Marketing and Media Industry” hosted by Huffington Post president and editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington. To cap the week of the 59th Cannes Lions Festival, winners of Film, Film Craft, Creative Effectiveness, and Titanium & Integrated Lions were awarded along with Network of the Year, Holding Company of the Year, Independent Agency of the Year, and Agency of the Year.
Out of the 315 submitted Philippine entries (the biggest since 2008), this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity awarded the country with 6 medals in total, the highest number of Lions awarded to the Philippines since 2007. BBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines leads with 3 Bronzes and 1 Silver, while Lowe Philippines and TBWA \Santiago Mangada Puno each get one Bronze.
‘Overthrow’, co-authored by Adam Morgan whose publishing credits include Eating the Big Fish, will explore a more evolved model and the communication implications.
