SINGAPORE – Grey Group Singapore has a new CEO.

Konstantin Popovic, who has been leading Grey’s second biggest client GSK across Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa, is adding to his responsibilities and has now also been named CEO of Grey Group Singapore, effective 1st of January, 2018.

He will continue to work closely with Nirvik Singh, Chairman & CEO, Grey Group, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, and continue to accelerate the transformation of Grey into a full marketing services organization.

Popovic joined Grey from Publicis WW New York, where he was the Brand Agency Leader for P&G Healthcare, leading multi-agency teams globally. Additionally, he was the global leader for Publicis’ real-time marketing engine.

Prior to Publicis, Popovic was with BBDO for 16 years in Düsseldorf, Chicago & New York leading businesses for blue-chip clients such as Henkel, Mars, Wrigley, J&J & Best Buy.

Since taking over GSK for the region, Popovic has built a vibrant global hub for the client that has put Grey Group Singapore on the map as one of the very few agencies to run global brands from Singapore.

In his new role, he will partner with Neil Cotton, Chief Strategy Officer and Tim Cheng, Chief Creative Officer – who both joined Grey Group Singapore earlier in the year.

Nirvik Singh, Chairman & CEO, Grey Group Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa said: “With elevating Konstantin Popovic, we have now completed our renewal of the Grey Group Singapore leadership. KP has a proven track record in being strategic and bold and in winning businesses. In addition, his drive and his understanding of the digital and marketing landscape will be instrumental in the continuing transformation of our agency.

Says Popovic: “I am thrilled and energized to be taking on this broader responsibility right now. Grey turned 100 this year, a great moment to reflect on the next 100 years and what the agency of the future might look like. Nobody has the answer, but part of it is adopting an “Always in Beta” mindset and that is my promise: To relentlessly improve, never stop pushing and always strive for more. I feel blessed to have our CCO Tim Cheng – a proven digital transformer – and CSO Neil Cotton - equal parts Strategist and Consultant - by my side. Together we represent the end-to-end integration that clients demand to help them navigate through today’s complex business challenges. The three of us also embody our commitment to regional and global business leadership, already reflected in our highly diverse employee base and our international client roster, which includes P&G, GSK, Ferrero and Dulux to name a few.

Grey Group Singapore’s current CEO - Subbaraju Alluri will be taking over as Area Director – Indonesia & Thailand.
