ADFEST 2017: Leo Burnett Manila, Publicis JimenezBasic, and TBWASMP nab Silver Lotus awards

PATTAYA – Four out of five shortlisted agencies have managed to take home metals in the first round of winner announcements in the Asia-Pacific ADFEST 2017 awards ceremony held in Pattaya, Thailand.

TBWA\SMP scored a Silver in Direct Lotus for ‘Dirty Watercolor’ and a Bronze in Print Craft Lotus for ‘Float’. Both are campaigns for ABS-CBN Foundation.

Leo Burnett Manila also won a Silver in the Interactive Lotus for its McDonald’s campaign, ‘The Boy Who Loves To Study’ while Publicis JimenezBasic also scooped a Silver in the same category for Globe Prepaid ‘Rogue One Mask’.

Completing the PH list is Dentsu Jayme Syfu with a Bronze also in Interactive Lotus for ‘#STAYNEGTAHIVE’, a campaign that encouraged people to get HIV tested.

TBWA\SMP and BBDO Guerrero are still vying for metals in the second round of winner announcements which will be revealed in the awards ceremony on Saturday.
