Leo Burnett Manila named Philippine Creative Agency of the Year by Campaign Asia

MANILA - Leo Burnett Manila won the much-coveted Gold for Philippine Creative Agency of the Year at Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Agency of the Year awards during a ceremony in Singapore last December 10.   

Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Agency of the Year awards recognizes inspired leadership, management excellence, outstanding business performance, and overall achievement in advertising and communications industry across Asia-Pacific. 

Aside from being declared as the Philippine Creative Agency of the Year, the agency was also recognized for its digital expertise, being named a finalist for the Philippine Digital Agency of the Year category. 

Strategic thinking is also highly valued at Leo Burnett Manila.  This was strongly affirmed when Joy Santos, Leo Burnett Manila’s Head of Strategy, bested the field as Southeast Asia’s Strategic/Brand Planner of the Year. 

Campaign Asia-Pacific’s is the region’s most prestigious Agency of the Year awards with judges comprising client marketers from all over the region. It is also the only awards program that honors agency performance at both the local and regional level.

Commenting on the wins, Raymond Arrastia, Managing Director of Leo Burnett Group Manila said:  “We are extremely honored by the recognition.  These awards are the validation of all the hard work, passion, and commitment of everyone in the agency.  We are extremely inspired to work even harder and deliver better work for our clients.”

These awards cap a year of multiple recognition for Leo Burnett Manila.  Previously, it clinched The Boomerangs’ Digital Marketer of the Year for having the most number of awards in the biggest show organized by the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP).  Leo Burnett Manila also took home a haul at the 4As-Philippines’ Agency of the Year awards that included the following: Best in Market Performance, Digital Excellence – Best in Creative and Effectiveness, and the Activation Excellence – Best in Creative and Effectiveness.
