Philippines shines at Cannes Lions 2025 with 10 shortlisted entries: GIGIL scores 3, Leo Burnett Manila recognized for ‘McDonald’s: Night Classroom’

CANNES, FRANCE – Filipino creativity shined once again as two more works from the Philippines have been shortlisted at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, bringing the total number of shortlisted works of the country to ten.

GIGIL‘s Steal for Mandaue Foam Home Store has been shortlisted in the Film Lions category (Challenger Brands), while Miracle for ARC Refreshments Corporation was shortlisted under the Consumer Goods and Single-Market Campaign subcategories.

Meanwhile, Leo Manila’s “Night Classroom” for McDonald’s Philippines was also recognized, earning a shortlist in the Brand Experience and Activation Lions, Single-Market Campaign subcategory.
