The SheCreative network was lauded for its initiative to elevate women creatives’ capabilities, offer employment opportunities, and create a value chain of talent for the emerging creative economy in the Philippines, especially amid COVID-19. Judges praised its first lineup of educational programs, “What Women Do”, an online roundtable discussion that featured women trailblazers in various creative fields, from agency chiefs to independent entrepreneurs and award-winning designers.

Judges captured the essence of the adobo SheCreative Network through the following comments:

“Very interesting initiative. It has all the right ingredients of a good thought leadership program- content, community engagement, talk shows. All these have definitely created a huge impact metric wise. I especially love the SheNetwork initiative and I’m sure it can be a huge thought leadership property going forward.”

“Well done. Congrats on exceeding the expected target by 3x! A clear demonstration that your business product was serving a much-needed demand in an underserved space. Appreciate the stats, graphs, and evidence.”

“The Adobo SheCreative Network is designed to be a membership organization for women in the creative industry in the Philippines and Asia. What Women Do is a much-needed event that allows women in creative fields to communicate. The metrics provided are also impressive.”

This year more than 1,500 nominations from 35 nations were reviewed in the Stevies for Women. Just about 39% of the nominations considered received high-enough average scores from the more than 160 professionals worldwide who participated in the judging process to win Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award recognition.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 160 business professionals around the world, working on eight juries.

Maggie Gallagher Miller, president of the Stevie Awards, said, “We thought the remarkable stories of achievement we saw in last year’s awards couldn’t be topped, but we were wrong.  Women-owned and -run organizations have contributed significantly to the increase in innovation and entrepreneurial activity we’ve seen globally since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The nominations submitted to the 18th Stevie Awards for Women in Business that attest to this are inspiring, humbling, and motivating.  We congratulate all of our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie winners.  We look forward to celebrating them during our January 13 virtual ceremony, and to hearing from some of them during our Women|Future Conference.”

Winners will be celebrated during a virtual awards ceremony on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
