NEW YORK, USA — The New York Festivals® Advertising Awards has announced the winners for its 2022 edition and BBDO Guerrero is the only agency from the Philippines to take home an award.
“The Dissolving Bottle” got a Bronze award under Package & Product Design. It is an open-source re-design of traditional shampoo packaging, giving it an eco-friendly makeover. It aims to make shampoo bars more intuitive by giving them a shape similar to the kind of small bottles used in hotels. The BBC’s Howard Johnson calls it the shampoo bottle that’s “100% Pinoy. 0% Plastic.”
Other entries that made it as finalists are GIGIL’s “Squid Game Doll,” “Literal Money Heist,” “Media Network Takeover,” “Globe,” “Billboards,” and Nissan Philippines’ “The Mobile Charger.”
