Draftfcb hires Tommy Eugenio as President and CEO, James Bernardo as Chief Creative Officer

MANILA, MAY 21, 2013 – Draftfcb Philippines has announced two new high-level appointments. Tommy Eugenio is to be the agency’s new president and CEO, and James Bernardo will serve as the new chief creative officer. These and other organizational changes the agency is to undergo will take effect this July.

Eugenio will leverage his years of experience at handling a wide range of accounts and brands in his new role. Prior to joining Draftfcb, Eugenio served as Division Head at Publicis Manila, where he was tasked to provide strategic direction and a range of business solutions, such as marketing consultancy and advertising-campaign formulation.

After less than a year in the client side, Bernardo (co-founder of industry shindig Laking Aircon) is returning to advertising as chief creative officer for both DraftFCB and Digital FCB. As CCO for DraftFCB and its digital component, Bernardo will be helping the agency enhance its creative reputation, win new business and help grow current clients’ businesses. "I woke up one day and realized that I miss everything about it," says Bernardo now. "I guess it’s true what they say. Love is lovelier the second time around."

These new appointments help enhance Draftfcb’s moves to strengthen its position as a key marketing/communications and end-to-end digital organization.
