Heading the jury for Classic Creativity is Joe Dy, Chief Creative Officer of Wunderman Thompson and VMLY&R Philippines, who encouraged jury members to select “work that best represents our full potential as an industry,” and have fun while they’re at it! This award category celebrates creative excellence through classic marketing mediums–outdoor/ambient, print and publication, film, audio, and design.

Meanwhile, the Creativity in Craft category “recognizes ideas but also celebrates details,” according to its jury president Marci Reyes, Creative Consultant of TBWA\SMP and Grey. Each entry will be judged specifically on the quality of its craftsmanship. Only original, produced works are accepted.

Blackpencil Manila ECD Kat Gomez-Limchoc, jury president for the Creativity in Engagement, looked forward to seeing the best ideas that utilize modern tools and platforms to create delightful and deeper engagement. This category celebrates insightful creativity that captivates at every touchpoint, and creates authentic interaction and immersive experiences.

Propel Manila’s Partner & Creative Chief Raymund Sison headed the jury for Creativity in Experience and considered this particular category to be very exciting — as entries should demonstrate how the customer journey, experience of the brand, and optimization of every touch point led to increased brand affinity and commercial success.

Meanwhile, the Creativity in Entertainment category celebrates “unskippable” creativity that turns content into culture. Its jury president, TBWA\SMP CCO Melvin Mangada, surmised that jury sessions will be as entertaining as the category itself.

Dennis Perez, Digital Marketing, Media & Commerce Lead of Unilever Philippines, headed the jury for Creativity in Strategy & Effectiveness and said, “This Kidlat category celebrates work that “embraced creativity from the very beginning of strategy creation to deliver amazing results at the end.”

Lastly, the Creativity for Good category commends entries that can be a beacon of hope and change. Heading this jury, Seven A.D. CEO Teeny Gonzales stressed on the importance of recognizing “those who know the power of what we do… and have made the difficult but important choice to try to make this world a better place and did it brilliantly.”

With the variety of trailblazing personalities sitting in this year’s jury, there’s no doubt that the chosen winning entries will reflect exemplary creative work that will recharge and inspire the Filipino creative spirit to further uplift the industry, society, and the world for the better.
