MANILA, OCTOBER 24, 2012 – !Gung Ho Films Manila welcomes back Marie Jamora, acclaimed writer and director. Jamora is a part of the original team but took a sabbatical to co-write and direct her movie, “Ang Nawawala (What Isn’t There)” for Philippine independent film festival, Cinemalaya 2012.
The film was one of the most-acclaimed movies in the festival, winning Best Original Music Score and Audience Choice Award in the New Breed Category for budding young filmmakers.
Jamora brings with her years of experience in directing for TVCs, music videos and films.
In other news, !Gung Ho encourages film production teams in the region to shoot in the Philippines. Their latest spot includes the country’s best accommodations, varied scenery and diversity of cast choices among others. The spot is part of their effort to make the country Asia’s production hub.
