The creative industry thrives on the brilliance of people who translate bold ideas into reality, constantly pushing the boundaries of what we imagine is possible. To scout for more creatives that will continue to bring pride and honor not just to our country, but to the community itself, adobo Magazine is once again opening the adobo LIA Young Creative Competition.
Now in its 14th year of partnership with the London International Awards, this initiative aims to grow and coach young creative talents to reach their full potential.
For the first time ever, adobo Magazine, one of the select publications in Asia given this massive opportunity, is opening its doors not only to people from advertising agencies, 4As, and DMAP members, but also to those from design studios, marketing companies, and production houses. Creativity, after all, isn’t limited to a single sector but thrives wherever bold ideas take root.

The winners of the adobo LIA Young Creative Competition will be given the chance to learn from prominent leaders in the creative industry through the Creative LIAisons program in Las Vegas, USA.
If you’re a young creative aged 21 to 30 within the advertising, design, marketing, or production landscape, this is your opportunity to take the stage.
We invite you to express your interest in joining the competition by filling up this form so you can receive updates on timelines, requirements, and key announcements, but please note that this is not an official entry form. The complete competition kit will be shared after the briefing, which will be on February 23, 2026, via livestream on adobo Magazine’s social media accounts.
The creative legacy: hearing from past winners
Brilliance knows no bounds and thrives in every corner of the industry. We’ve gathered stories from previous winners who exemplify how a single win can redefine a career.
Joza Myrene Nada, who won the LIA Young Creative Competition in 2016, now works as an Associate Planning Director at Publicis JimenezBasic.
Describing her overall experience at the time she attended the Creative LIAisons program, she said, “Being part of Creative LIAisons gave me the unique opportunity to get out of my own bubble, learn more about the advertising industry and where I see myself in it.”
Moreover, Joza notes that the experience started her journey from being an art-based creative to becoming a communications strategy professional. It also made her realize how much she loves bringing out deep human truths and unearthing insights.
On the other hand, Niño Jose Gonzales, who competed in 2017, is now an Associate Creative Director at Dentsu Creative Philippines.
“Competitions like this help you with your creative confidence. To me, winning became a form of validation that I have what it takes to succeed in advertising, especially when I started late in the game. Even up to now, when doubt creeps in, I go back to the time I won and remind myself, somehow that winner still lives inside, thinking of the next big idea,” Niño said, highlighting the competition’s impact on his creative journey.
