WARSAW, POLAND – The Golden Drum Festival has welcomed Marcin Sosiński, Chief Creative Officer of Dentsu Creative Poland & CEE, into its prestigious Hall of Fame – an honour reserved for creative visionaries who have made a lasting impact on the industry and inspired generations of talent.
Established in 2010, the Hall of Fame recognises individuals whose careers and personal contributions have shaped the creative landscape of Central and Eastern Europe. Sosiński joins an elite list of industry leaders including Darek Zatorski, Catalin Dobre and Adrian Botan, all of whom have influenced his professional journey.
“Being inducted into the Golden Drum Hall of Fame is a tremendous honour and a truly moving moment for me. I join a group of people who have had a profound impact on my professional life.” said Sosiński.
With over two decades in the industry, Sosiński is one of Central and Eastern Europe’s most awarded and influential creative leaders. He spent much of his career at McCann, driving some of the network’s most acclaimed campaigns, before taking the creative helm at Dentsu Creative Poland & CEE. His work has consistently earned international recognition — from Titanium and Grand Prix honours at Cannes Lions to a D&AD Black Pencil (the first for Poland), as well as top accolades from The One Show, LIA, Eurobest, Webbys, Clios, and the Golden Drum itself.
In 2025, two of his campaigns were ranked the most awarded in the global financial sector, and he was named the ninth most awarded Executive Creative Director worldwide (fifth in EMEA). Under his leadership, McCann Poland was crowned Cannes Lions for Good Agency of the Year in 2023, underscoring his commitment to purposeful, culturally resonant creativity.
Beyond his commercial success, Sosiński has been a steadfast advocate for the distinct creative voice of Central and Eastern Europe, championing ideas that are locally rooted yet globally relevant. He has served on international juries, mentored emerging talent, and, as a board member of Poland’s Ad Creators Club, worked to foster the next generation of creative leaders. At Golden Drum, his campaigns from “Where to Settle” and “Room for Everyone” to “The Future Peasants” have captured the cultural nuance of the region, earning six Grand Prix, multiple Gold, Silver, and Bronze Drums, and the Creative Director of the Year title in 2023.
The Golden Drum Hall of Fame now bears his name alongside an illustrious roster of pioneers who have shaped the industry over the festival’s 31-year history. The 2025 Golden Drum Festival will take place from 13–14 October at the Grand Hotel Bernardin in Portorož, Slovenia, with competition entries closing on 22 August 2025.
