NEW YORK, USA – The New York Festivals AME Awards has officially announced the Shortlist for the 2025 AME Greater China Awards, spotlighting the most innovative and effective advertising and marketing campaigns emerging from the region.
This year’s competition attracted a wealth of impressive entries from across Greater China, reflecting bold strategic thinking and culturally resonant creativity. The Shortlist was curated by a distinguished Grand Jury comprising over 30 high-profile industry leaders ranging from C-suite executives to branding experts who conducted a rigorous online judging process.
“The work coming out of Greater China continues to raise the bar for effectiveness and innovation,” said Gayle Seminara Mandel, VP, Executive Director of the AME Awards. “This year’s Shortlist reflects a remarkable blend of cultural insight, bold strategy, and creative excellence. We’re proud to shine a spotlight on these campaigns that deliver results and push the boundaries of what marketing can achieve.”
Entries were evaluated across four weighted criteria: Results/Effectiveness (30%), Idea (25%), Execution (25%), and Challenge/Strategy/Objective (20%). Campaigns that made the Shortlist demonstrated not only strong creative and strategic foundations but also measurable impact within a fast evolving and competitive market landscape.
The 2025 Shortlist includes a diverse mix of leading international and regional agencies. Notable agencies with multiple entries progressing to the next round include TOPic & Loong, FRED & FARID Shanghai, KARMA, Heaven&Hell, Shared Pulse, Mountains, and Match. On the brand front, several iconic names are vying for top honors, including global giants such as McDonald’s and Guinness, alongside regional leaders like Mengniu, YILI, Taobao, OPPO, and KUAISHOU. Their presence in the Shortlist highlights the region’s creative momentum and the increasing demand for purpose driven marketing that delivers results.
The shortlisted campaigns will now move forward to the trophy round, where they will be reviewed by the AME Greater China Executive Jury. Renowned for their strategic expertise and award-winning work, these jurors bring invaluable insight to the evaluation process.
The final results will contribute to the 2025 AME Report, an annual global benchmark that recognizes the most effective agencies and brands worldwide. The report serves as a vital industry resource, offering a comprehensive overview of the creative strategies that drive measurable success.
