For the first time, the CMO Pencil is open to the industry as a dedicated category, inviting agencies to highlight the role their client partners play in shaping groundbreaking work. Previously, this accolade was reserved for top-scoring entries from The One Show’s Best of Discipline and Gold Pencil winners.
Past CMO Pencil winners include Ally Young, CMO, Skinny New Zealand; Lorraine Twohill, CMO, Google, who accepted along with Florian Koenigsberger, Image Equity Lead, Google; Raja Rajamannar, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and President, Healthcare Business, Mastercard; Kathleen Hall, Chief Brand Officer, Microsoft; David Rubin, CMO, The New York Times; and Stephen Tisdale, CMO, State Street Global Advisors.

Entries to The One Show 2025 can be submitted now, with the deadline of February 28, 2025.
Finalists will be announced in April 2025, with Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencil and Merit winners announced during Creative Week 2025, taking place May 12-16 in New York.
