Grey Malaysia’s Lubna Khan joins Orchard Advertising

MUMBAI – Grey Malaysia’s Head of Planning Lubna Khan has been appointed by Orchard Advertising as National Strategy Head. She will be based in the agency’s Mumbai Office.

In the words of Leo Burnett Group India’s National Planning Director Rajeev Sharma, Lubna is a rare combination of an exceptionally penetrative mind, passion for great work and a truly impressive knowledge base honed over a broad spectrum of multinational and Indian leadership brands across the country.

Lubna has more than 16 years of experience in advertising and brand building. Apart from Grey Malaysia, she has had stints with J. Walter Thompson India, Cheil India, Wunderman International and Rediffusion Y&R.

Among brands she has handled include P&G, Nestle, GlaxoSmithKline, Samsung, Kao, Microsoft, Nokia, Airtel, LG and the Indian government.

Lubna has two postgraduate degrees in psychology, one from University of Delhi, India and the other from the University of Leeds, UK. She is the co-author of a book on Strategic Communication for HIV/AIDS that still serves after many years as the core reference for the Government of India.

She has been recognized by WPP’s Atticus Awards for her work in the area of Innovation Strategy, and is the winner of numerous effectiveness awards including the APAC Effies, WARC Prize for Asian Strategy and AME&S.
