THE PHILIPPINES, AUGUST 17, 2012: A new musical comedy movie will hit the Philippine theaters this August 29. I Do Bidoo Bidoo will feature the hit songs of OPM legend APO Hiking Society and star iconic OPM talents such as Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Eugene Domingo, and Ogie Alcasid, along with two young newcomers, Sam Concepcion and Tippy Dos Santos.
I Do Bidoo Bidoo tells the story of young lovers who are about to get married but are torn by their families’ differences. However, this is not your usual “kilig” movies, even though the movie does take pride that it has the “kilig” factor as well.
The movie is directed by writer-director Chris Martinez and produced by Unitel Productions and Studio 5.
Unitel Productions, the company behind such critically-lauded, commercially-successful, out-of-the-box movies as “Crying Ladies” and “La Visa Loca”, produced yet another unique movie with I Do Bidoo Bidoo.
The musical direction is entrusted in the hands of award-winning arranger Vincent de Jesus. APO’s songs will soon be immortalized on the big screen: “I Do Bidoo Bidoo”, “Syotang Pa-class”, “Awit ng Barkada”, “Panalangin”, “Tuyo ng Damdamin”, “Mahirap Magmahal ng Siyota ng Iba”, “Salawikain”, “Nakakapagtaka”, “Batang Bata”, “Blue Jeans”, “Kaibigan”, “Huwag Masanay sa Pagmamahal”, “Ewan”, “Paano”, “Pumapatak Na Naman ang Ulan”, “Di Natuto”, “Pag-ibig”, and “Kabilugan ng Buwan”.
The movie also features Neil Coleta, Frenchie Dy, Sweet Plantado, Jaime Fabregas, Kiray Celis, and Gerald Pesigan.
