ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, AUGUST 23, 2013 –Alex Lim is joining Y&R Singapore as creative director, reporting directly to chief creative officer Farrokh Madon.
Lim has 14 years of experience in the advertising industry, including stints at BBDO, Publicis, Leo Burnett and BBH. He started as a graphic designer, before becoming an art director for Wunderman Singapore and later on the head of art at BBDO. He has been included in lists of the region’s best such as Asia’s Top 10 Creatives and the 20 Hottest Creatives by Campaign Brief Asia.
He was ranked as first and sixth at the global Gunn Report, and has under his belt trophies Cannes Lions, D&AD, Spikes, New York Festivals and One Show.
Lim boasts remarkable works for numerous brands such as L’Oreal’s Garnier Men, Burger King, F&N, P&G (Oral B, Vicks), Hewlett Packard, PaperStory, P&G (SK-II), Mondial Rare, Jewels; Pizza Hut, KFC, P&G(Gillette), Simple, Mercedes, Fedex, Tiger Beer, Johnnie Walker, Levis, Citibank, Caltex, United Overseas Bank and OUB.
