SINGAPORE – October 28, 2013 – Alpha 245/ Leo Burnett Malaysia was awarded the coveted title of Event Marketer Agency of the Year at Marketing Events Awards 2013 that was held at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore last Thursday. The awards show was attended by 300 guests with over 72 brands and agencies winning in 24 categories, the agency said in a press release.

 
Alpha 245/ Leo Burnett Malaysia’s total awards haul included three Gold, two Silver and one Bronze across multiple categories including best multi-channel campaign, use of social media, use of malls / shopping centres, event ambience (consumer), digital integration (consumer) and best consumer event. 
 
At the same event, Helwett-Packard Asia Pacific was awarded the overall brand winner for Event Marketer 2013 winning a total of four Gold, two Silver and two Bronze. 
 
Organized by Marketing Events Magazine, Marketing Events Awards is an annual regional awards that recognize and honor the crème de le crème of Asia’s event marketing, management and planning industry – giving praise to creative excellence, strategic marketing, and operational precision.
 
Now on its second year, the awards show was judged by senior event marketers and planners from major advertisers across Asia, leading industry experts and Marketing Events’ editorial board.
