GLOBAL – UNITED STATES, JULY 19, 2013 – “Did your team develop a groundbreaking solution to a challenging marketing problem? Did you accomplish specific marketing goals and objectives through creative execution and strategic planning? Did you make good work that works?”
This was the call placed out by the International Awards Group, preparing to open their doors to entries for the 2014 Advertising & Marketing Effectiveness – most commonly known as the AME – awards on August 1.
Founded in 1994, the awards group recognizes the best work coming from different parts of the world. These works “demonstrate ground-breaking solutions to challenging marketing problems”, and are judged based on whether these campaigns address a challenge in the marketplace, utilize creative elements, and incorporate a thorough marketing plan to deliver a successful execution.
Every year, a “Grand Jury” is formed to evaluate and judge the entries. This panel is comprised of different industry experts and creative directors from all over the world. Each entry goes through four rigorous rounds of judging, after which the panel determines the Platinum winners for each region among the Gold winners. The campaign from the pool of Platinum winners with the most points gets awarded the highest award in the whole ceremony, the AME Grand.
The winners will be featured in the Winners Showcase section of AMEAwards.com and will be highlighted prominently through social media, blog posts, and announcements to the international press through numerous media contacts throughout the world, propelling the winning campaigns beyond regional and into international exposure.
