Anime Festival Asia welcomes two major investors – Dentsu Inc. and Zepp Live Entertainment Inc.

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, AUGUST 28, 2013 – Japan’s top advertising agency Dentsu Inc. and Japanese concert hall operator and event promoter Zepp Live Entertainment Inc. will invest into Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2013, South East Asia’s largest premium convention for Japanese Popular Culture, lending supporting with their networks and expertise.

Together with incumbent Singapore-based organizer SOZO, Dentsu and Zepp will help strengthen the festival’s network with Japanese affiliated companies and content providers, and in the area of event management.

Investing in AFA for the first time, Dentsu Inc. will also serve as one of the festival’s co-organizers. While its Singapore subsidiary has played an active role in past events, the direct involvement of the Japanese entity will see greater synergy in terms of tapping on its network of Japanese-affiliated companies and content providers to strengthen the festival’s content.

The agency will assist in broadcasting and promoting AFA 2013 during and after the event as well. J Food & Culture TV’s “Hello! Japan” – the Singapore-based international entertainment TV channel with popular Japanese content, of which

Dentsu is a key investor – will be one of AFA 2013’s official media partners. Dentsu will explore continuous promotional opportunities of AFA’s stage performances and event content through overseas broadcasts and web streaming.

Japanese event promoter and concert hall operator Zepp Live Entertainment will likewise co-organize the festival, sharing its strategy and expertise in concert and content production as part of AFA 2013.

This year the organizers also enlisted the help of CROONER, a specialist content and marketing company to support and partner for the festival.
