BBDO Guerrero names Dale Lopez as ECD

MANILA – September 20, 2013 – In line with BBDO Guerrero’s mission to be the leading creative agency in the country, Dale Lopez has been promoted to the position of executive creative director. He joins current ECD Tin Sanchez in the role. Lopez will handle management and development of the department, while Sanchez will focus on key client relationships and developing new creative opportunities.
 
Lopez is elevated to his new role from his previous position as creative director. He joined the agency in 2004, and was part of the team that worked on the award-winning "It’s More Fun in the Philippines" campaign for the Department of Tourism. He was also involved in two campaigns for Pepsi: the Liter of Light campaign for MyShelter Foundation, and Pepsi Pinas, a spoof of classic Filipino action movies. 
 
Of Lopez’s promotion, BBDO Guerrero creative chairman David Guerrero said, "It is clear that the Philippines is now regarded as one of the most thriving creative advertising communities in the region. The appointment of Dale is a recognition of his part in the recent success of the agency and of the desire to create ever more successful campaigns. I am certain that both he and Tin will thrive with their new responsibilities.”
 
Meanwhile, BBDO Guerrero chief executive Tony Harris said, “It is always a powerful sign when you can promote from within and Dale has proven himself to be a highly professional and well-regarded leader. He will certainly rally the many existing talents in our creative department."
