BBDO Guerrero restructures management with internal appointments

THE PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 25, 2011: BBDO Guerrero/Proximity Philippines has made three internal appointments as it reorganizes its management responsibilities and structure.
 
Felicia Almario and CJ Roque are appointed Joint Heads of Account Management with the responsibility for the management of resource, training, development and integration across the account handling discipline. Almario has been with the Agency since 2005, having previously worked at Harrison Communications and Leo Burnett, while Roque joined BBDO at the end of last year from McCann. Both have been successfully working with the Agency’s Johnson and Johnson business.

Ombet Traspe has been promoted to be the Agency’s first Director Of Marketing and takes responsibility for the Agency’s new business drive and reputation management. He has been with BBDO since 2004 having previously worked with Dentsu Y&R in both Manila and Hong Kong and also with Campaigns And Grey.
 
Tony Harris, Chief Executive at BBDO Guerrero/Proximity Philippines, said, “I have been very fortunate to inherit some exceptional talent here and it seems only right to put it to use for the benefit of the agency. Felicia and CJ carry all the attributes of best practice that can serve as guiding lights to the rest of the account handling discipline. We need a department that is flexible, responsive, creatively driven and business-focused and they will undoubtedly deliver this”.

All three will report to Harris and to Francine Kahn-Gonzalez, the General Manager of the agency, and take up their roles with immediate effect.
