Cutwater, San Francisco Bay Coffee brew up family values in vibrant new campaign

CALIFORNIA, USA – San Francisco Bay Coffee and its agency of record, Cutwater, have launched a new animated campaign that puts family and integrity at the heart of the coffee experience. Expanding on the success of the “One Small Sip for a Better Tomorrow” brand platform, the campaign highlights the company’s Whole Bean offering and underscores the value of responsibly sourced, family-grown coffee in a market projected to grow from $8.18 billion in 2025 to $13.89 billion by 2033.

Driven by a colorful animated film by Psyop and Wizz, the campaign positions San Francisco Bay Coffee as a “David” against “Big Coffee” giants—showcasing its long-standing relationships with farmers, commitment to fair pay, and dedication to sustainability. Cutwater Creative Director Amy Su describes the work as “an engaging and purposeful way to illustrate what makes family-run coffee different.”

Jennifer Greenberg, Director of Marketing at San Francisco Bay Coffee, adds, “Our coffee drinkers care deeply about responsibly-sourced coffee and great taste. We’re proud to be a family-run business that has been putting farmers first since 1979. Every cup helps.”

The media strategy spans linear TV, digital video, paid social (Meta and Reddit), radio, streaming audio, digital OOH, and paid search—targeting environmentally conscious coffee audiences across the U.S. West Coast. Cutwater’s Lizzy Ryan notes that the campaign builds upon previous success while exploring new digital spaces like Reddit to foster organic conversations among coffee lovers.
