CSI, Leverage most-watched shows on AXN Asia

THE PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 26, 2012 – The Philippines, along with neighboring countries Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and India, favor crime procedural and heist shows, as shown in the high ratings garnered by the latest seasons of CSI and Leverage.
 
Since January 1, 2011, the CSI franchise has delivered a collective reach of 60 million viewers across the five countries. And most recently, the premiere of the 10th season of CSI: Miami in August was the No.1 rated show for pay-TV 4+ audiences and professionals, managers, executives and businessmen (PMEB) audiences in its timeslot, with a 137% lead and four times the ratings of the closest advertising supported network respectively.
 
Another AXN favorite, Leverage starring Timothy Hutton, has seen strong viewership across Southeast Asia. The drama series, now in its fourth season, claimed the No.1 spot in its timeslot, over all advertising supported channels for pay-TV audiences in Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines for its premiere broadcast from July – September 2012. 
 
CSI: New York Season 8 which debuted in May also topped its timeslot for pay-TV 4+ viewers, delivering 2.2 and 4.2 times the ratings of the next best rated advertising supported network in its timeslot, also among pay-TV 4+ audiences, and PMEB audiences respectively.
 
In its 12th season that bowed in April, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, drew over 94% higher ratings and 2.2 times the ratings of the nearest competing advertising supported network in its timeslot among pay-TV 4+ audiences, and PMEB audiences respectively.
 
The ratings were provided by Kantar Media Singapore/Philippines, AGB NMR Malaysia/Taiwan and TAM India and cover the period from January 1, 2011 to September 18, 2012.
