DLS-CSB Multimedia Arts’ ‘Literal’ exhibit to raise funds for Yolanda relief

MANILA – December 2, 2013 – De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Multimedia Arts and adobo magazine present ‘Literal’, an art exhibit that showcases the creative aspects of our language through traditional and digital art and a combination of whimsical installations by 20 upcoming multimedia artists and designers from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

The artworks on display will be on sale, and net proceeds will go to World Vision for Yolanda victims.

Literal aims to make you think and ponder on the literal meaning of words frequently used and said. Through various artworks and installations that visually represent literal meanings, the exhibit seeks to capture people’s attention and focus it on the different ways they can see and understand expressions we normally use but don’t dwell on. Literal intends to make words and sayings more thought-provoking by expressing them in a seemingly ironic manner: literally.
