E! rebrands with a “Pop of Culture!”

ASIA-PACIFIC, SEPTEMBER 27, 2012 – The International Networks division of NBCUniversal has unveiled a brand new on-air look for E! Entertainment Television in Asia and around the world, complete with new logo and tagline.

The revised logo comes in solid black and does away with the exclamation mark background but retaining the exclamation point underneath the “E”. The new slogan moves the channel’s focus from “Everything Entertainment” to “Pop of Culture”, adding a heavy emphasis on current trends.  Its website was re-launched internationally with a tablet-friendly redesign that improves functionality and user interaction, plus enhancements to its high-res photo galleries and unique social integrations.

E! also expands its programming with new shows including ‘Opening Act’, from International Emmy Award-winning producer Nigel Lythgoe and ‘Married to’ Jonas, featuring Kevin Jonas, of multi-chart topping group Jonas Brothers, and his wife Dani, as well as continuing with fan favorites ‘Live From The Red Carpet’, ‘Fashion Police’, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and all the familiar, much-loved hosts of ‘E! News Asia’ – Marion Caunter and Dominic Lau.

Universal Networks International managing director Christine Fellowes says E!, as an iconic brand at the epicenter of pop culture, is evolving to stay current and relevant to audiences.
