ideasxmachina (IXM) donates Php1M to scholarship

MANILA – Southeast Asia Independent Agency Of The Year Philippines, IXM, donated Php1M to Edunasyon.org for the benefit of the PAREF Southridge Night School Development Foundation.

Southridge Night/Afternoon School is the secondary school of PAREF Southridge for poor but deserving scholars that come from less-privileged families and public elementary schools around Metro Manila. IXM CEO Third Domingo and four other IXM founder-employees (ACDs Jasp Ilagan and Vinch Bud-oy, Strategy Manager Jedd Ilagan, and Digital Creative Rice Acoba) are alumni of said school.

“I know this will sound corny but the donation is an expression of gratitude, a giving back, and our way helping the cause to help educate children living at the short end of the economic spectrum. Alleviate poverty in our country not by giving fish, but by teaching how to fish.” Domingo said.

Education is an advocacy very close to the heart of IXM. Every member of the organization is required to initiate and implement an educational project in their own community, supported fully by the Agency. “Silid-Sining”, “Likhang Aralin”, “Malaking Munti”, “TaraLaro”, “IXM School For Gifted Children Internship Program” are just some of the projects championed by the agency’s Creative and Account individuals. Domingo himself is a professor of Creative Communication at the University Of Asia and the Pacific and founder of the Creative Guild Raw School.

“It makes sense to me to hire people from humble backgrounds. Scrappers. Talent that can pull oneself up by one’s own bootstraps. Advertising is a hard job and I believe that those who didn’t have it easy strive harder.” Added Domingo

IXM is one of the fastest-growing ad agencies in the country today with creative assignments from PNB, Toyota, SMDC, Pepsi CPPI, Kao, Vibelle, 3M, Wellmade, ConceptFoods, PhilStar, Lorenzana, Motortrade, Aboitiz, Organica Nutraceuticals, Palmer Asia, Super8, AUF, Makati Med, Insignia, GNC, Burlington, Starmobile, OLX and Dermclinic.
