iTunes Store opens in PH today

THE PHILIPPINES, JUNE 27, 2012: Tech giant Apple has finally opened its iTunes Store to Philippine users and other 11 Asian countries today. Music, apps, movies and other digital content will be available for download to Mac, iPad, iPod, iPhone and PC users.
 
iTunes Store will also be opening to Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam today. 
 
This venture will feature local content as not only song from international artist will be sold in the iTune Stores. Music from Asian artists such as Jay Chou, Girls Generation and Andy Lau will also be available.
 
First opened as iTunes Music Store in 2003, the software-based online digital media store from Apple has been the most popular music store in the world since 2010. 
 
Offering over 28 millions songs, videos, and apps, iTunes Store is available in more than 50 countries across the globe.
