Komli Media appoints country lead in the Philippines

THE PHILIPPINES, JULY 25, 2012: Komli Media, Asia Pacific’s leading media technology platform, has appointed Samir Ahmed as its sales director and country lead in the Philippines.

Ahmed joins Komli at a time of growth and expansion in the region. “The Philippines is an important market for our business, we are very excited to have an experienced and talented manager like Samir to lead our team in this high growth market.  Samir will be a superb addition to our regional leadership.” Mathew Ward, chief revenue officer of Komli SEA, said. 
In this role Ahmed will be responsible for managing the company’s wide portfolio of digital advertising solutions in display, social, video, and mobile in the Philippines. Ahmed joins Komli from UPFRONT Media where he gathered extensive experience working with a variety of blue-chip clients. Ahmed has held several positions at digital media organizations in the US, including Vibrant Media and Tremor Media (formerly ScanScout), while having started his career at FCBi (now Draft FCB) in New York.
Furthermore, Ahmed’s experience in the Philippines makes him a good fit for the role where he has worked with established digital brands including PepsiCo, Aviva, Audi, Dole, Emperador Distillers, Grant Thornton and Nestle.
