Lowe Thailand CEO Hine confirms leadership lineup

ASIA-PACIFIC – THAILAND – September 23, 2013 – Following his recently announced promotion to President of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Lowe Thailand CEO Jeremy Hine confirmed the management lineup he has selected to take the agency forward.

“It was always the plan that I would spend around two years leading Lowe Thailand and it has been a pleasure.  During that time a fantastic leadership team has been put together to take the agency forward," Hine commented.

Managing Director Dan Zonmani now takes over as CEO. Sanjai Srivastava is promoted from Regional Business Director on the agency’s Unilever business, to Managing Director. Eric Yeo continues as Chief Creative Officer, Bang Gutierrez as Chief Strategy Officer and Robert Hall as General Manager of OPEN.

Zonmani and Srivastava have worked closely with Hine over the last few months to ensure a smooth handover with clients and agency personnel.

"Dan and Sanjai give me the confidence to know that Lowe Thailand will be in not just good, but great hands. I’m very happy Dan, a Thai national, will lead the agency. It underscores our commitment to clients in Thailand and fuels our desire to be the best agency in this country," Hine said.

"While I look forward to returning to Europe, I know I will miss the passion, sense of fun and creativity of the Lowe and OPEN Thailand staff and the friends I have made here,” he added.

Hine also said the group had built a strong and cohesive management team over the last two years. “We have some of the best talent in Thailand, won some great new clients, extended our capabilities into digital, done well on the awards scene and have some great new campaigns in the pipeline. This is testament to each and every member of staff at Lowe and Open Thailand, I am very proud of them. Our strategy of developing our brand with local culture, insight and people at its core, is paying dividends,” he said.

For his part, Zonmani said: “The opportunity to take over the reins at Lowe Thailand is a very exciting one. This agency is primed to lead the Thai market and become eminent in the Asia Pacific region. Jeremy has done great things here and we thank him. He will be missed but leaves us in great shape.”
