McCann Erickson and Enervon reunite after intense pitch

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, AUGUST 26, 2011: McCann Erickson Philippines reclaims full creative duties for leading vitamin brand Enervon after a five-way, two-round pitch. The agency bested JimBasic, Estima, TBWA and incumbent Lowe.

With this win, McCann Erickson expands its portfolio of UNILAB’s key brands, including Biogesic, Ceelin, Tuseran, Decolgen, Skelan, Ritemed, Westmont Appebon and Unilab Corporate. Mon Garcia, McCann Erickson Managing Partner, says, “We are proud of this win, and we thank Unilab for entrusting to us another important piece of their business.”

The homecoming was also a meaningful one for both brand and agency, which shared a history of successful campaigns in the past . Raul Castro, Executive Chairman and CEO, told adobo, "The Enervon win is very meaningful to us. First because we competed with very formidable agencies. Second, and perhaps more important, the brand was handled by McCann from the 90’s until 2005 when it was lost to another agency. This victory is about the brand coming back home."
