THE PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 26, 2012 – Award-winning audio production house SounDesign this year celebrates its 15th anniversary.
Raul Blay, with his trademark long, salt-and-pepper hair, moustache and beard, founded the company with his wife Poe on August 20, 1997. Since then, it has expanded into 35 production crew and staff celebrating its landmark anniversary. The production house regularly services over 80 clients and continues to grow its roster while expanding its operations currently at seven audio post and sound-for-picture studios and four music composing studios.
“Only by the Lord’s grace have we reached 15 years. These years have been blessed years, with the Lord sending us the best people in terms of talent, attitude and passion,” Blay said.
Addressing the company’s founders, musical arranger Kahlil Refuerzo said, “For the opportunity to work and make a living, nurturing us not only in our careers but also in our lives, and for showing us that we can always achieve more if we passionately work on it and put our hearts into it, we thank you.”
SounDesign has over 20 excellence awards, winning metals and trophies from the Agency of the Year awards and the Creative Guild, both by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As), and the AdBoard Recognition Awards by the Advertising Board of the Philippines. The audio recording company also has a couple of metals from the New York Festivals in 2003 and 2005.
It has also been awarded the top spot in the Sound Production category of adobo’s 2011 Creative Rankings.
As a member of the Advertising Suppliers Association of the Philippines for 13 years, SOUNDESIGN is one of most avid supporters of advertising industry activities.
