OMD International hires Business Director

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE – NOVEMBER 2011: In support of the rapid expansion of OMD International – OMD’s specialist unit that manages multi-national client assignments – Silas Lewis-Meilus has been appointed as Business Director. Lewis-Meilus will be responsible for driving best in class media solutions for key clients around the region through his understanding of consumer insights, strategy and channels.   
 
Lewis-Meilus joins OMD International from Mindshare, London where he was a Managing Partner for four years, heading accounts such as American Express and Motorola.  Prior to Mindshare London, he was working at Mindshare, New York as Associate Planning Director on American Express for four years. An international communications planning expert, Lewis-Meilus has held also senior roles at Universal McCann, New York and Ogilvy & Mather, New York. 
 
Commenting on the appointment, Torie Henderson, CEO, Omnicom Media Group, Singapore, said, "Silas’s expertise in leading international accounts will enhance our service offering, enable us to continuously raise the bar of excellence, and deliver tangible benefits to our client.”

Lewis-Meilus’ role is effective immediately and he will be based in the Singapore office, reporting to Torie Henderson.
