Publicis JimenezBasic expands digital team, appoints new social media director

 MANILA – October 2, 2013 – Publicis JimenezBasic is beefing up its digital team, starting with the appointment of Ysobel Hamidjojo as Digital & Social Media Strategy Director. 

Hamidjojo joined the agency in June 2013 from digital entertainment and online gaming portal BoDogNation, where she was head of social media, Asia. 
 
In her role at Publicis JimenezBasic, she leads strategy and planning, business development, social team architecture, social media technology and best practices integration, and social consumer marketing.
 
"The title is a handful – as is the role – and Ysobel brings a wealth of experience working in social strategy and engagement, content management and analytics. She is also Google AdWords certified, adding meaningful experience in search/campaign strategy as well," Andrew Garcia, business unit head, interactive at Publicis JimenezBasic told adobo.
 
"Ysobel has hit the ground running and has already worked on a number of client campaigns in the short time she has been around," he said. 
 
According to Garcia, the agency is growing their digital team following years of success in ATL and BTL work.
 
"As part of the world’s largest digital network, we recognize where advertising is going as an industry and how digital will play a key role in our growth," he said.
