Rice Communications welcomes new director and partner

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, JUNE 20, 2012: Independent communications agency Rice Communications has appointed James Brasher as Director and Partner.
 
Brasher will work closely with Rice Communications’ Founder and Managing Partner Sonya Madeira to broaden the firm’s client base in Singapore and regionally. He will oversee business development and be a senior point of contact for Rice’s partners and clients in the region. 
 
Since being recognised among the Top 10 fastest growing PR agencies in the world by The Holmes Report, Rice Communications has continued to rapidly build its business across Asia Pacific. From three staff on day one, the team has grown to 15 in three and a half years.
 
In addition to anchor client, Inmarsat, Rice has added a number of marquee clients to its roster. Some visible brands include Abbott, Bayer, Bosch, Cisco, eBay, GE Healthcare, besides others. Rice is also known for its strength in the digital media space, having supported organizations such as the Mobile Marketing Association, AdMob prior to the Google acquisition, e-Dialog which has since been acquired by eBay, InMobi, Buddy Media and more.
 
Rice is also well-known for supporting start-ups in Singapore. Clients include iTwin, GreenPost, Angel’s Gate, Tagit and others.
 
Brasher joins from LEWIS Public Relations where he served as Managing Director for Asia Pacific. Prior to LEWIS, Brasher worked with the Baldwin Boyle Group as a consultant. During his career, he has represented over 60 organisations including brands such as Audi, BlackBerry, Fonterra, Microsoft, Salesforce.com, Singapore Airlines, Sony and Visa.
