Tanduay to take on America

MANILA, JUNE 24, 2013 – This coming summer, rum aficionados in the United States will finally be able to partake of a taste well known to Filipinos – Tanduay Distillers, Inc. is bringing its trademark Silver and Gold label creations to America.

"As we began to lay the groundwork for making Tanduay a global brand, it was clear that the United States was an important, yet untapped market," said Tanduay Distillers, Inc. president and CEO Lucio K. Tan Jr.

Spearheading the North American launch is Brand Action Team, known for introducing numerous international brands to the US market. As part of their mandate, Brand Action will oversee branding, advertising and social media awareness campaigns.

As of this writing, Tanduay is set to launch sometime in the next two months during the American summer season, with Miami, Florida as the initial market.
