ThoughtBuzz, TO THE NEW, expands aggressively in Philippines

MANILA – January 20, 2014 – ThoughtBuzz, a TO THE NEW group company delivering social media analytics and business intelligence, has roped in marketing and business leader Rianna Roces-Trinidad as General Manager, Philippines. Roces-Trinidad will actively work with the leadership team of ThoughtBuzz to grow their presence in the Philippine market, according to a press release.
 
Commenting on the appointment, Ashok Patro, Chief of Operations, ThoughtBuzz said, “Philippines is a very important market for ThoughtBuzz. With the growing Internet penetration and more importantly Internet on mobile, the young and digitally savvy people are spending more time on social media. Brands have thus started taking social media seriously. ThoughtBuzz’s products and suites of services will help and equip the brands to understand, plan and manage their digital spending in a smart way. We cover Philippines-specific social media sources and have local language capability (Tagalog) to offer local insights in local language as well.”

Roces-Trinidad brings with her over ten years of advertising and marketing experience across Philippines and APAC market. Prior to this, She has worked in various marketing and leadership roles.  She served as Head of Marketing for Philippines e-Commerce pioneer – Multiply.com, and as Head of Digital & Social Media Marketing group for Globe Telecom.
