Three new hires complete Ogilvy management line in Indonesia

ASIA-PACIFIC – JAKARTA, INDONESIA, FEBRUARY 3, 2012 – Following the recent appointment of Katryna Mojica and Gustavo Asman as country head and creative lead, Ogilvy & Mather ASEAN has announced the appointment of Gordon Ford (head of OgilvyAction), Florian Jungbauer (head of Redworks), and Rene de Paus (business and strategy director of The Brand Union) to complete the Indonesian management lineup.
 
“Our new Indonesia plan is gathering momentum,” said David Mayo, president of Ogilvy & Mather ASEAN. “Katryna and Gustavo, our newly appointed country and creative leads, will be joined by Gordon, Florian, and Rene, three professionals at the pinnacle of their game. Focusing on creative work that works, they will drive Ogilvy forward on our new 5 Year Plan which includes development of our offices, our people, our product, and of course our clients and their businesses.”
 
Ford joins Ogilvy from Leo Burnett, who carries with him 17 years of working experience across Asia. “We are delighted to have Gordon at the helm to lead OgilvyAction in this dynamic growth market,” said John Goodman, president of OgilvyAction Asia Pacific.
 
Austrian-born Jungbauer moves to Indonesia from Hong Kong, where he served as managing director of a leading marketing specialist agency, while Indonesian-born de Paus brings in his 14 years of branding and marketing experience to The Brand Union. de Paus has for prominent international and local brands, including the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, Total E&P, The Body Shop, and Vespa.

Ford and Jungbauer will begin their responsibilities this month and will report to Mojica. De Paus also begins his job this February and will report to Hitchmough.
