Welovepost upgrades visual editing system with Autodesk Flame 2013

MANILA, MARCH 6, 2013 – Post -production house Welovepost has added Autodesk flagship visual effects system Flame 2013 to boost its capabilites in online visual effects. Flame has advanced graphics and 3D compositing tools including the latest ultra-realistic lighting tools and a comprehensive set of tools for finishing heavy visual effects spots and projects.
 
"The addition of Flame in our workflow is a significant part in our technical upgrade path for this year. We have been eyeing the Flame to be our major hero online suite, especially since Welovepost is mainly a commercial finishing shop," said managing director and founder Pedring Lopez. 
 
Welovepost marketing director and co-founder Cody Miller III adds that the new system is also geared towards bringing in more regional business for Welovepost. 
 
"We have already done a few regional TV commercial projects and we feel that the Philippines is so ripe to be the next production and post production hub in Asia. We feel this is the right time for a major push locally and regionally from Welovepost. We also recently signed a strategic partnership and co-branding agreement with animation powerhouse HolyCow Animation Inc. Together we are look forward to start work on projects for a Japan based production company," said Miller.
 
The co-branding and partnership agreement gives Welovepost a very strong animation and post production capability. 
 
Welovepost has also started construction of it’s new floor which will house the only Resolve grading theater in Manila, a twelve (12) seat visual effects team and four (4) online rooms powered by Flame 2013 and Smoke2013. The new floor, will be located directly above Welovepost’s existing facility here in Makati, Philippines. "We are very excited with the new facility and technical upgrades," adds Miller, "and continues that it’s business as-usual and will keep everyone posted with the latest news from Welovepost."
