Wunderman Asia Pacific strengthens key roles, prepares aggressive push for 2014

ASIA PACIFIC – December 9, 2013 – Wunderman, the largest digital network in Asia Pacific, has announced key promotions that further fortifies their strong digital, data and analytics offering. 
 
Krishnan Menon, previously regional business director, has been promoted to chief client officer, Wunderman APAC, the network said in a press release. He will work with market leaders across APAC to align Wunderman’s regional objectives with local business operations. Nimesh Desai, general manager at Wunderman Singapore, takes on a new role of managing director, Wunderman Southeast Asia, reinforcing the client base and agency offerings across six markets. Michel Mommejat has been promoted to managing director at AdPeople Asia Pacific, to drive and further expand AdPeople operations in the region. 
 
All three newly created roles are based in Singapore, and report to Stephane Faggianelli, president, Wunderman APAC. The team will work closely with the relevant strategic and creative leadership in APAC to raise the bar on delivery to existing and prospective clients.

Building and leveraging synergies to accelerate future growth
 
Wunderman APAC has seen rapid growth over the past five years. Krishnan Menon was instrumental in growing the client portfolio, and has established a track record of strong client partnerships. In his new role, his focus will be three-fold – to strengthen the existing client base, propel rapid growth via business development operations across the region, and help expand the Wunderman network.
 
Nimesh Desai will focus on the key markets in Southeast Asia, leveraging the formidable Wunderman network to provide big-picture results for local clients, including cross-market digital solutions. Desai comes with a string of achievements in this area, having been the key driver in setting up Wunderman International Manila, structuring fully networked teams to service Microsoft in this part of the region, as well as supporting local offices in new business activities. 
 
Development of AdPeople operations in APAC

" width="200" height="300" hspace="5" align="left" alt="" />AdPeople is part of WPP and aligned under Wunderman, operating as a stand-alone network with offices in Bangladesh, Singapore, China and Japan. In his previous role as the regional network development director, Michel Mommejat helped to successfully grow the Wunderman network, supporting operations and new business. His strong understanding of the region and experience of developing clients and offices, provides a solid foundation to further expand AdPeople operations across Asia. Mommejat will have dual reporting responsibilities to Emre Gursoy, president & COO, AdPeople Worldwide, as well as Faggianelli.
 
Congratulating Mommejat on his new assignment, Gürsoy said: “The APAC region is of great importance for our growth strategy.
