Awards: BBDO Guerrero wins Gold; Wunderman Thompson Philippines, and Leo Burnett Manila take home accolades at ADFEST 2022

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – ADFEST has unveiled the winners for its ADFEST 2022 Lotus Awards and among the winners are Philippine agencies: Wunderman Thompson Philippines, BBDO Guerrero, and Leo Burnett Group Manila.

BBDO Guerrero’s “The Dissolving Bottle” for The Naturale Market won Gold under Product Design: Consumer Products, Silver under Packaging Design, and Bronze under Product Design: Innovative & Sustainable Design, all under Design Lotus.

“‘The Dissolving Bottle’ reworked a simple change of shape to create a change of mindset. The idea gave traditional plastic packing an eco-friendly makeover. And for the rest of us, a fresh new way to ditch the onetime-use plastic bottles once and for all. In terms of design, we just loved the simplicity,” said Paul Chan, Chief Creative Officer, Cheil Hong Kong, and Jury President of Design Lotus.

Meanwhile, Wunderman Thompson Philippines‘ “Right The Ride: Jeepneys Against Misogyny” for the Commission on Human Rights of The Philippines was awarded Lotus Roots. Unique to ADFEST, the Lotus Roots category celebrates ideas that embody local values whether in terms of culture, religion, beliefs, traditions, or language. The campaign also won Bronze under Brand Experience Lotus.

Leo Burnett Group Manila won two Bronzes, one under Outdoor Lotus and one under PR lotus for “McDonald’s Classroom.”
