MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Canva, the world’s only all-in-one visual communication platform has officially launched the nationwide rollout of Canva for Education across all public schools in the Philippines. The initiative, in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), grants free access to Canva Education to all K–12 teachers, learners and staff with a valid DepEd email address.
This development follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Canva and DepEd in October 2024, and marks a milestone in Canva’s broader mission to democratize design and empower global learning communities. Already, thousands of public school educators across the country have begun integrating Canva’s tools into their teaching practices, fostering creativity, collaboration, and critical digital communication skills among students.

Canva for Education is tailored specifically for the needs of the K–12 education sector. The platform offers a vast library of curriculum-aligned templates for presentations, lesson plans, videos, infographics and more. It also features real-time collaboration tools, content scheduling capabilities, and seamless integration with widely used platforms such as Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams. With built-in safeguards, Canva for Education ensures a secure and age-appropriate digital learning environment.
