Dentsu Southeast Asia has reaffirmed its position as one of the region’s strongest networks, claiming the top spot in industry rankings in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, underscoring its strength in one of the world’s most competitive and fast-evolving regions.
In Indonesia, dentsu leads the market, ranking #1 overall in RECMA’s new Domestic Report released in March 2026, reflecting both structural strength and new business momentum. Carat, dentsu X, Dwi Sapta, and iProspect mark strong market positions, underpinned by deep local expertise and a well-balanced client portfolio. This is complemented by dentsu Indonesia ranking #1 in the COMvergence New Business Ranking for FY2025, driven by the highest client retention rate in market, highlighting the strength, stability, and longevity of its client relationships.
In Malaysia, dentsu also continues to demonstrate strong competitive momentum, with the network ranking #1 in the COMvergence New Business Ranking for FY2025, driven by the highest client retention rate in market. In parallel, dentsu Malaysia ranks #2 in the latest Ham Report, a benchmark recognising top-performing work across leading industry awards, highlighting the quality, consistency and impact of its work in market.
In Thailand, dentsu remains firmly ahead of market at a group level, with its agencies continuing the lead on RECMA’s latest Domestic Report. Carat maintains its #1 position for the fourth consecutive year, supported with a Dominant Profile, while dentsu X and iProspect both rank among the top agencies, reflecting sustained competitiveness and consistent performance. This leadership extends to its #1 position in the COMvergence New Business Ranking for FY2025, leading across new business billings, wins, and client retention, demonstrating its strength across both growth and long-term client partnerships in the market.
Sanjay Bhasin, CEO, Southeast Asia, dentsu, commented, “As one of the most competitive regions in the world today, the ability to retain, to compete, and to continue growing in Southeast Asia is what ultimately defines leadership. Yet, you do not lead in Southeast Asia by chance, but rather by earning it over time through consistency, resilience, and the ability to stay close to what matters most: our clients, our capabilities, and being locally grounded. The performance we are seeing across our Southeast Asia markets reflects a business that is built to operate in that reality. It is anchored in strong fundamentals, enabled by strong leadership across our markets, and strengthened by long-term client partnerships. We do not take that position for granted. The trust our clients place in us, and the responsibility that comes with it, is what keeps us raising the bar in how we deliver and partner across the region.”
The latest rankings are not isolated market wins, but part of a broader Southeast Asia network built on strong client partnerships, sustained competitiveness, and the ability to adapt and perform in an industry defined by constant change.
Formed in 2023, dentsu’s Southeast Asia cluster brings together six diverse markets of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, under a unified, borderless model designed to unlock new routes to growth.
