GMA Network leads across TV, Radio, and Digital in first half of 2025

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — GMA Network has reaffirmed its leadership in the Philippine broadcast industry, dominating television, radio, and digital platforms from January to July 2025. With an expansive reach of 115 TV stations and 21 radio stations nationwide, the Network continues to set the standard for media excellence in the country.

According to Nielsen TV Audience Measurement (TAM), GMA Network, together with GTV and its digital channels I Heart Movies and Heart of Asia, achieved a combined people net reach of 85.2 percent, reaching over 61 million Filipinos in Total Philippines. GMA alone reached 83.8 percent of viewers nationwide, commanding an audience share of 40.8 percent and securing its position as the top channel in the country.

The Network also led the ratings for individual programs, capturing 27 of the top 30 shows in Total Philippines for the period. Flagship programs such as Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho24 Oras, and Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre anchored this success, complemented by other hit shows including Tolome! Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na MisisLolong: Bayani ng Bayan/Pangil ng MaynilaStars on the FloorPepito Manaloto: Tuloy Ang KuwentoThe Clash 2025, and Magpakailanman.

GMA Network continues to excel as a digital content powerhouse. In July 2025, it ranked No. 20 on Tubular Labs’ Leadership Worldwide list, making it the highest-ranking media company in Southeast Asia in the Entertainment and Media category.

The Network’s social media footprint remains formidable, with a combined total of 5.6 billion video views in July 2025 across Facebook (2.9 billion), TikTok (1.5 billion), YouTube (1 billion), and Instagram (198 million). Year-to-date metrics highlight GMA Network’s dominance with over 20 billion video views across its platforms, surpassing ABS-CBN’s 16 billion.

Engagement metrics further underscore GMA Network’s online leadership. As of August 26, Sprout Social reported 2.9 million interactions on X and 14.5 million on Instagram, outpacing ABS-CBN’s 1.5 million and 12.8 million, respectively. Tubular Labs data also show GMA Network’s Facebook and TikTok accounts leading with 146 million and 250 million engagements, compared to ABS-CBN’s 137 million and 218 million.

GMANetwork.com has similarly emerged as the Philippines’ top news and information platform, according to July 2025 data from Similarweb Top Websites Country Rank, surpassing other websites in the Local News and Media Publisher category.

The Network’s flagship radio stations, Super Radyo DZBB 594 kHz and Barangay LS 97.1 Forever!, maintained their dominance in Mega Manila, based on Nielsen Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for July 2025. Super Radyo DZBB achieved a 39.9 percent audience share, significantly ahead of DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 (15.1 percent) and DWWW 774 (14.9 percent). Barangay LS 97.1 Forever! led with a 45.5 percent share, surpassing competitors 90.7 Love Radio (18.8 percent) and Wish 107.5 (11.4 percent).
