MANILA, PHILIPPINES – In a significant move to bolster career readiness and expand workforce opportunities across the Philippines, leading online employment platform Jobstreet by SEEK has entered into strategic partnerships with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) Jobs Cluster. These landmark agreements signify a united front in addressing employment challenges and equipping the next generation of Filipino job seekers with the tools to thrive in an evolving labor market.
The collaborations were formalized through the signing of Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), solidifying a shared commitment to elevate access to employment opportunities, enhance digital platforms, and deepen career preparation programs nationwide.
“We, at Jobstreet by SEEK, are very optimistic about these partnerships, as this reflects our shared vision of opening more doors and supporting Filipino job seekers from all walks of life. We’re excited to work together with these organizations and sectors, organizing more career conventions, expanding career readiness, and making job opportunities more accessible for Filipino job seekers,” said Dannah Majarocon, Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines Managing Director.

The partnership with DepEd marks a major step toward bridging education and employment. Central to this collaboration is the expansion of Jobstreet by SEEK’s Career Readiness Caravan, an initiative designed to equip students with critical career insights and job-seeking skills. Through on-ground workshops, practical career building activities, and exposure to real time labor market data, the initiative aims to empower Senior High School students and Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners with the confidence and competencies needed for the professional world.
Moreover, the partnership will amplify Youth Formation Initiatives, focusing not only on technical skills but also on values, attitudes and holistic development that align with the demands of today’s dynamic workforce.
Simultaneously, Jobstreet by SEEK’s engagement with the PSAC Jobs Cluster brings the strength of private-public collaboration to the forefront. PSAC, which connects government bodies with the business sector, will work closely with the employment platform to digitize job fairs and career conventions, streamlining the process for job seekers to explore, apply, and connect with potential employers.

This collaboration will leverage Jobstreet by SEEK’s digital capabilities in job fair marketing, candidate matching, and employment access, ultimately contributing to broader economic growth and national job creation efforts.
In addition to its formalized partnerships, Jobstreet by SEEK is also in active discussions with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to co-develop training modules, share labor market intelligence, and enhance access to seekPASS, the platform’s mobile tool that allows users to manage job credentials and application documents securely.
If the partnership proceeds, Jobstreet by SEEK is also expected to participate in high impact industry events such as the Philippine National Skills Competition 2025 and WorldSkills ASEAN Manila 2025, showcasing its commitment to technical and vocational excellence.
Earlier this year, Jobstreet by SEEK also inked key partnerships with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) to empower the retail sector and further support the Public Employment Service Office (PESO)’s job fair initiatives.
