Jobstreet by SEEK unwraps the most in-demand jobs shaping the workforce in 2026

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — As 2026 begins, you may be among the candidates thinking about where your career is headed next. To guide you through, leading online job portal Jobstreet by SEEK presents “In-demand Jobs Wrapped,” providing a quick look back at the roles that dominated employer searches over the past year.

Administration and Office Support remains the most in-demand role being recruited for, taking up 28.6% of job posts on the platform. Engineering roles are also among the most sought after at 10.2%, followed by Education and Training roles at 9.2%, Call Center and Customer Service positions at 9.1%, and Information & Communication Technology at 6.6%.

Other roles that continue to see steady hiring in 2025 include Accounting (5.8%), Sales (5.0%), Manufacturing, Transport, and Logistics (4.7%), Retail and Consumer Products (2.7%), and Marketing and Communications (2.6%). Jobstreet by SEEK anticipates that many of these job roles will continue to stay strong throughout 2026.

On the other hand, Jobstreet also recorded that candidates from Call Centre & Customer Service (12.3%) are the most active jobseekers in the platform, followed by candidates from Hospitality & Tourism (9.8%), Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics (8%), Information & Communication Technology (7.5%), and Engineering (6.5%).

This year, Jobstreet believes that digital transformation will most definitely drive more job opportunities for roles related to technology, considering the growing demand for AI-driven outputs and processes, which may require upskilled and qualified candidates. Hirers will continue to expect jobseekers looking for flexible work arrangements with an increased preference for companies that have strong corporate values (ESG, diversity, and inclusion, among others).

“Jobstreet by SEEK will continue to serve as a reliable platform where talent connects with meaningful job opportunities. With this commitment in mind, we look forward to deepening our impact and supporting even more stakeholders in the year ahead,” said Dannah Majarocon, Jobstreet by SEEK Managing Director in the Philippines.
