Teleperformance celebrates Pride with unity across The Philippines

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Teleperformance (TP) in the Philippines joined the 2025 Pride Month celebrations with an unmistakable presence – rallying over 450 employees across the country in a vibrant affirmation of inclusion and belonging.

The culmination of this nationwide celebration took place on July 8 at the 2025 Love Laban Festival in Quezon City, where over 250 TP employees and leaders, led by Chief People Officer Jeffrey Johnson, marched alongside thousands of festival-goers at the University of the Philippines–Diliman. The company’s participation not only underscored its commitment to diversity in the workplace but also its belief that everyone regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation has a rightful place at the table.

“Support for the LGBTQ+ community at TP does not stop at policy. It is reflected in how we train our people, how we build our teams, and how we hold ourselves accountable to creating work environments that reflect fairness and respect. I am proud of our people who participated in the festival, representing the workplace we continue to shape together,” said Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer of TP in the Philippines.

TP’s commitment to Pride Month extended beyond the capital and across multiple cities in the Philippines:

  • TP Cebu and TP Davao participated in their respective citywide Pride parades, drawing enthusiastic support from their employee base.
  • TP Bacolod showed up strong with 60 employees joining the city’s vibrant Pride March.
  • TP Baguio rallied 50 employees for the local celebration, marching through the City of Pines with flags and banners of support.
  • TP Cagayan de Oro brought color and cheer with 30 participants at the city’s Mardi Gras-inspired Pride March.

At the centerpiece of the Love Laban Festival, TP installed an inclusive and interactive Pride Booth that offered a rest area, hydration station, face painting, a photo booth and even a “Spin the Wheel” game. The booth also served as a quiet reminder that inclusion is not just a principle, but a practice.

“We’re happy to celebrate Pride with everybody as TP believes that every individual deserves respect and equality,” said Human Resources Director of TP in the Philippines Neil Norman Littaua.

Beyond the pageantry, TP has institutionalized efforts to ensure inclusion is part of everyday work culture. Through its Queertuhan sessions, a platform for queer voices within the organization to reflect and share their experiences – TP fosters honest dialogue and introspection around the meaning of belonging. Complemented by events such as the Pride Fun Runs in Cebu and Bacolod, these programs provide spaces for both celebration and learning.

“At TP, our inclusion and diversity programs start from the ground up. We focus on making sure that everyone feels welcome [in the organization],” Johnson concluded.
