Towards Perfection: ASAP Pearl Anniversary, Dec. 3

TV/audio production house, photographer, events group, color separator or graphics house: they all fall under the massive general heading of “supplier.” From one-man operation to huge corporation, suppliers form the largely unsung machine that transforms a creative’s doodle into advertising and marketing reality.

On Dec. 3 at Palacio de Maynila, the Advertising Suppliers Association of the Philippines (ASAP) celebrates its Pearl anniversary with the theme Towards Perfection.  

The event caps a landmark year for ASAP. In late 2007, the ASAP-organized Ad Congress Trade Exhibit was hailed as the best managed and most profitable in AdCon history — a success the group hopes to repeat at next year’s AdCon. This was followed by a well-attended annual conference last August, after which ASAP reps for the first time directly addressed the PANA (Phil. Association of National Advertisers) General Assembly, to clear up controversies in production cost and procedures.
