People: PRETTYBIRD welcomes Shiara Miranda as new business representative

LONDON, UK — PRETTYBIRD has welcomed to their UK team 24-year-old Australian-Brit Shiara Miranda.

Miranda moved to the UK from Australia on the cusp of the pandemic in January 2020, taking up a position with The Future Factory consultancy, where she specialised in new business for creative agencies. She worked with a diverse spread of agencies of all shapes and sizes, spanning motion design to digital innovation.

Shiara Miranda says, “I’ve always known I wanted to move into the production world, and the move to London came in pursuit of just that. After discovering the insanely high-calibre roster PRETTYBIRD boasts, (not to mention a hive of wonderful, talented characters at PRETTYBIRD UK) it was a no brainer. So excited to dive in!”

Miranda is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate of The University of Melbourne, where she majored in Marketing & Management and took a semester at the University of Southern California’s Marshall Business School, as well as completing an internship at McCann Melbourne.

Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Miranda is of Sri Lankan heritage and moved to Melbourne, Australia as a baby, before moving to the UK at the age of 6 for school. She moved back to Melbourne with her family to finish secondary school and attend university.
