Campaign Spotlight: #GoFurther: Ford Takes Storytelling Further to Focus on the Customer

In 2017, Ford Philippines started to focus its storytelling initiatives to its customers as a way to humanize the brand and connect more closely to the car audience.

#GoFurther is a visual storytelling initiative that is social media driven to engage the online community on how Ford vehicles are empowering and enabling customers to go through their daily grind and live out their passions, interests, and lifestyles.

To showcase how Ford vehicles complement the owners’ lifestyles, a series of online videos have been created to showcase their various personalities, backgrounds and interests.

Each story highlights the overall experience of the Ford owner with his or her vehicle and how it helps them go further in their passions in life.

Ranger – At first glance, tattoo-clad Paul Samson may seem to give off a dangerous vibe. In reality, the proud Ford Ranger owner is a very passionate chef who enjoys sharing his culinary talent, as he believes everybody needs to learn how to cook at some point in time. He drives his Ranger to transport food materials and ingredients for his entrepreneurial needs. He owns a cooking school called The Cookery as well as a restaurant in Paranaque. View his story here:

Everest – Helping those in need is what makes Ford Everest owner Edmarl Tecson bring purpose to what he does. Inspired by his late father’s compassion and generosity, Edmarl formed the Ford Everest Club Philippines and made it a point that the organization carries out an important mission of giving back. Together with his family and club peers, Edmarl is a constant source of inspiration for the children at Child Haus Foundation as he makes it a point to spread good cheer whenever he visits. Onboard his Everest, Edmarl brings food and other important supplies to the children, always mindful of how a simple act of generosity can change lives. Learn more about him here:
